Biography:

E.T. is the titular extraterrestrial character from the 1982 Steven Spielberg film, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial.

He is a botanist from another planet who is accidentally stranded on Earth after being separated from his exploration group.

E.T. befriends a young boy named Elliott, with whom he forms a psychic connection, allowing them to share emotions and physical sensations. He is being hunted by government agencies who want to study him.

Throughout the film, E.T. and Elliott work to find a way for E.T. to "phone home" and be rescued.
